| Since Attempt couldnt resist, and I was bluffing and really didnt have
a post, I bring a talk our Imam had at the celebration for the birth of
a baby daughter.
There was a man who had for his first child a daughter. When this
happened, he became very happy and did all the things happy desi
couples do.. bassically held many parties and passed out lots of mitai
(sweets for our Urdu challenged friends, last urdu word,
promise). Then some time later, he had a son.. and again he held
parties and passed sweets.. but not with the fervor that he did with
his daughter. People asked him why he did the opposite of the norm,
since normally parents celebrate the birth a son more than the birth of
a daughter, since the son will contribute to the family name while the
daughter will just adapt anothers and leave him....
He replied as such
He said the day after he got married, his parents came to visit him. As
he got up to greet them, his wife said I am tired, let them be, they
will come back tommorow. As she predicted, the parents thought they
were still sleeping or watever, and decided that they should leave and
come back tommorow. Soon there after a meteor crashed and they became
the incredibles and ..... no wait, wrong story , no really, soon
after, his wife's parents came, and as she heard them, she jumped up
and welcomed them in and served them all this food that husband didnt
know how to cook.. the whole deal. On that day, he said, he knew that a
son would go on to make something of himself, but a daughter would come
and back and take care of him. Why should he not reward her now while
he still can...
<Think of the most thought provoking thing you've written and write it here>
More to come when I find the time, OSU in 2 days wohoo :-/

| ::Edit:: this is Yoda playing.
Class from 8am to 8 pm suck. Expect long post after 8 today... cuz i'll
have plenty to complain abt... and sorry to those whom i;ve been
ignoring, I've read the xangas, i just havent commented
"Whoever said War is Hell is completely wrong. War is not hell. In Hell
only the people that sinned are present. They all did something and
watever it was, it was something pretty big because now they are in
Hell. No one there is wronged, no one there is misunderstood. They all
suffer with purpose. Only the damned go to Hell, but Everyone goes to
War. The Young, the old, the big and the small, the good and the bad,
the innocent and guilty all find themselves in a hole holeing on to
anythign human they can find. There is no purpose there, only death.
Sure there is purpose to those watching, but put them in the middle of
it, and suddenly the purpose isnt all that important. It's war. It
breaks everything and everyone, regardless of deed. Kill now and ask
later. It's war and personally I'd rather be in Hell."

| You know why Kiwis taste so delicious? cus you have to peal them to
completely enjoy them. Things that come easy go easy. If you have to
work hard to reach somewhere, chances are, you will value what you have
at the end... and this Kiwi tastes great. Too bad you never see
someone thinking the meaning of life eating a kiwi, always a hookah...
but then, those are a pain to set up and clean too
::Edit:: New Song. I put this up since Storm put up the one I was gonna, which was Nada Surf.

This is our door decorations, They are gonna change as we are gonna add
more "medicine" stuff. And yes, the dry erase board on the bottom
is a Thebeard03 production.
For those who cant read, the dry erase board says from top till bottom:
Things councilor didnt tell you about college
Spelling is unimportant (councilor is spelled wrong)
All classes you need are full
Everything is due last week
Cereal is an All-Purpose food
Procrastination, Science perfected to an Art
Video Games replace your family

This is my desk. It looks cluttered. Maybe that's analogous of a Cluttered mind, but would you rather have it empty?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/thebeard03/DSCN2310.jpg
And finally my drum, brought to me by Azthebaz. The picture infront of
the drum is a greeting card I got from ISNA. It's really nice. On one
side of the drum are letters i havent thrown away yet, and on the other
is the top of my 200 watt "bad nieghbor revenge machine". The other one
is on the floor.

Anyways. That's all for now, more perhaps later, but I dunno. The full
room shot will have to wait for tonite when the window doesnt create
lighting problem. The best view (yes it gets better) happens after the
end of Fajr,, during sunrise. Maybe I'll add those pictures if I take
them... For those of you with dial up, sorry, switch to DSL or Cable,
you wont regret it. Anyways, Salaams and remember, Bearded people on
bikes dont crash. They aim
